Dipoll Community Guidelines

Dipoll is a place to ask real questions, vote honestly, and see how people — and places — think.
These guidelines keep it useful and safe. They apply to everything you post: polls, options,
images, comments, votes, messages, and your profile. Breaking them can get your content removed
or your account suspended. For the full rules, see our Terms of Service.

The short version

Be honest. Be decent. Don't break the law.

Do

• Ask genuine polls and vote in good faith.
• Keep it civil, even when you disagree. Debate ideas, not people.
• Respect privacy — yours and others'. Think before attaching a location or sharing personal
  details.
• Report polls that break these rules, and block anyone you don't want to interact with.

Don't

• Harassment & bullying. No targeting, threatening, or demeaning people or groups.
• Hate speech. No attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability,
  sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or similar characteristics.
• Violence & threats. No threats, incitement, or glorification of violence or self-harm.
• Sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance. This will be reported to authorities.
• Adult sexual content & shock content posted where it doesn't belong. [Owner to set the
  exact adult-content policy; note this drives the App Store age rating.]
• Illegal activity. No content that facilitates crimes, sale of illegal goods, or fraud.
• Doxxing & privacy violations. Don't post others' private information.
• Impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
• Spam & manipulation. No bots, vote/engagement manipulation, scams, or fake accounts.
• Intellectual-property theft. Only post content you have the right to share.
• Misuse of DMs. Private messages are still covered by these rules.

Location, demographics & results

Dipoll shows poll results in aggregate, including by geography and by the demographics voters
choose to share. Don't use these features to target, harass, or expose people. Only share
location and demographic details you're comfortable being part of aggregate results.

Reporting & enforcement

• Tap Report on any poll to flag it, and Block to stop interacting with a user.
• Our moderators review reports and may remove content, limit its reach, or suspend accounts.
• Serious or repeated violations can lead to permanent removal. Illegal content may be referred
  to law enforcement.
